My topic proposal is going to be focused in on the fire service. All my life I have been surrounded by these people due to my mother’s illness and the constant need for medical attention. Ever since I’ve seen strangers come in and help someone they don’t know (my mother), I have a desire to give back what someone has given me. As for a controversial topic I find steroid use in the public service realm a rising problem. Though there are obvious strengths to having some of these individuals using steroids, there are also many negatives to the usage. It is my goal to search for information and find out the positive and negative aspects to these people who serve the community and effects that these drugs have.
